When the fun stops

We want you to have the most pleasant experience possible when you hire from us, however we understand that things can go wrong. Something like one in five van hires incur some sort of damage. Take a look at any parcel delivery van if you don’t believe us – even professional drivers get it wrong frequently, please consider taking one of our damage waiver products to reduce your liability.

We try to be as fair as possible estimating repair costs but when things do go wrong modern vehicles are very expensive to repair.

We adhere to the BVRLA guidelines for assessing damage and also have the ability to get an independent qualified insurance assessor to provide a repair estimate should you be dissatisfied with our appraisal.

Our excess charge comprises the following:

  • Repair costs
  • Loss of revenue whilst the vehicle is repaired
  • Any consequential loss of value
  • Delivery & Collection to the repairer
  • Any third party claim on our insurance policy
